Easy Access Telemed offers consultations and treatment plans tailored to your specific needs whether you are experiencing new symptoms or have a chronic disease process that requires ongoing monitoring and treatment. We offer quality medical care at an affordable, low cost starting at $75 per visit charged to your credit or debit card at time of service. Patients are welcome to schedule an in-person examination at our Kodak, TN location or may choose to be evaluated by telephone or video conferencing for most minor care issues. In order to better serve her patients, Easy Access Telemed has streamlined the process for patients to self schedule their own appointments at a time convenient for them. This frees up time for Denise to evaluate and treat others. All patients will benefit from the process of self schedule.
2.) What if I don't have Internet access? will I be evaluated and treated?
For those that do not have Internet access, please call for assistance in scheduling your appointment. If your call is not answered immediately, please leave your name, telephone number and a brief message and your call will be returned as quickly as possible to assist you in scheduling your appointment.

Under some circumstances, Denise will offer concierge evaluations for patients in or near Sevier County, TN. Price of evaluation and treatment to be determined upon time and distance needed to travel to your location.
4.) How is my personal information protected?
Easy Access Telemed uses a HIPAA compliant Electronic Medical Record platform where all communications regarding written, video or telephone evaluations are routed through. The EMR uses proprietary technology to encrypt communications/records and store in a HIPAA compliant secured cloud based system.
5.) Do you accept insurance? Why or why not?
No, Easy Access Telemed does not accept insurance but you will be emailed or mailed a bill for services that you may file with your insurance carrier. The landscape of medical care is undergoing drastic changes. Many providers, like Denise, do not want to be constricted with the bureaucracy of insurance companies who dictate how she is to treat her patients, opposed to the treatment plan she believes the patient needs in order to achieve wellness. By removing the insurance carrier from the process, Denise is able to better serve you and do so in a more cost effective manner.
6.) What payments do you accept?
Easy Access Telemed accepts all major credit and debit cards. Your payment will be processed at time of service.
7.) Why are there so many forms to fill out?
The forms that you will fill out prior to your evaluation are the same forms that will be filled out at any and all medical provider locations prior to being seen. By filling these important pieces of information prior to your evaluation, this will streamline the process where Denise can spend more time evaluating you and interacting with you.
8.) Will you be our primary care provider?
Easy Access Telemed is accepting new patients needing a primary care provider.
9.) Do you order labs, x-ray or other diagnostic testing?
Labs and other diagnostic procedures will be ordered at an outpatient center as needed following your examination.
10.) Will you refill my current prescriptions from another provider?
Depending upon circumstances, Easy Access Telemed will refill certain prescriptions. For instance, a traveler who has forgotten their medications and cannot get in touch with their primary care physician. It will be on a case by case evaluation of the patient and the medication required. Easy Access Telemed will not be able to refill any medications that are controlled substances according to the DEA.
11.) Are there medications you will not refill?
Patients will be evaluated on a case by case basis where scheduled medications may be required. In person consultations are required in this situation. Examination and consultation does not guarantee or obligate the provider to prescribe any scheduled medication and prescriptions are solely at the discretion of the provider and Medical Director of this clinic.

Denise has been working in medicine professionally for 40 years. She spent 18 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist before transitioning to Physician Assistant where she has enjoyed a 23 year career. Denise has a strong, well rounded background with extensive knowledge of cardiovascular, orthopedic, infectious diseases, family practice medicine and, most recently, several years pioneering an Acute/Urgent Care pilot program at her last employer. Denise's patients love her approach to patient care and have given her a 98.5% patient satisfaction rating. Denise's State Certification is unblemished and she has never been involved in any litigation for malpractice. She has a collaborating physician resource if she ever has a medical question who also reviews and approves of her treatment plans for a number of patients.
